“Life is never perfect. Together, we can learn to accept the imperfections, come out the other side of the pain, and learn where your values lie as you move forward. I never want you to feel like you are going it alone.”

I am probably not your typical therapist. You are looking for counselling or therapy because you are stuck. I will be attentive and supportive as we work through things, but it is not uncommon for me to inject some humour or a bit of colourful language into our sessions. I will challenge you to lean into the pain and to see your issues in a new light. I will be your biggest cheerleader as we work together to help you achieve your goals. I accept you for who you are, but I can see who you want to become.
This approach also applies to my work with my colleagues and other professionals. I am a post-secondary instructor and I am trained in Clinical Supervision. I am passionate about helping good therapists become great therapists through honest reflection and hard work. In addition, I provide workshops and consulting to businesses and organizations as I believe that challenging the way we do business and relate to each other starts with compassion and understanding.
